Terms of Use

1. The service

CleanHelper provides tools to view storage use, search a photo library, review duplicates and visually similar photos, find screenshots and locally stored videos over 100 MB, organize photos by month, create app collections, and share selected items through iOS. Available functions can vary by device, operating-system version, permissions, region, app version, and subscription status.

2. Permissions and your content

You decide whether to grant photo-library access and which items iOS makes available to the App. You keep your rights in photos, videos, albums, text, and other content you review or organize. You are responsible for having permission to use the content and for checking every selection before you share or delete it.

Photo indexing and analysis run on your device. The App uses the access you grant to create local search and cleanup results. You should keep backups of important content before deleting or changing it.

3. Reviews, deletion, and sharing

The App provides suggestions and review groups to help you decide what to keep. A review result is not a command to delete. Deletion requires your choice and follows the iOS confirmation flow; system retention, Recently Deleted, backups, or shared copies may still apply.

When you use system sharing, you choose the destination. The destination’s terms and privacy practices govern content after it leaves the App.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

The App may offer Apple auto-renewable subscriptions or other paid features. The price, billing period, trial eligibility, and included features are shown by the App Store at the time of purchase. Apple processes payment and controls renewal, cancellation, and refund procedures under its applicable terms. We receive the transaction or entitlement information needed to provide access.

Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple account before the renewal date shown by Apple. Deleting the App does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not use it to infringe another person’s rights, process content without authorization, interfere with the App or its service, probe or bypass security, reverse engineer the App except where applicable law permits, or use automated means to abuse the service.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature, service endpoint, or App version to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or available on every device or network.

7. Intellectual property

The App’s software, interface, text, graphics, icons, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, modify, or create derivative works from the App unless permitted by law or authorized in writing.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Cleanup groups, search results, storage views, and other estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate because they depend on permissions, device state, local resources, and system behavior. We do not promise a particular amount of storage released, a particular recognition or search accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or recovery of deleted content.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App provider is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, content, profits, or device availability arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Privacy and updates

Your use of the App is also governed by the Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms when the App, service, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update becomes effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
